As fair and equal competition as is possible in the various sports among member institutions.
The SAAC also offers input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes' lives on NCAA member institution campuses.A proper balance between athletics and regular scholastic work of the college. Public criticism of officials by coaches, players or institutional personnel is not permitted.This includes any reference to "questionable calls" or insinuation that the officiating affected the outcome of the contest.Violations of this rule will result in disciplinary action. Fan ridicule of the opposition is strictly prohibited.The game administrator(s) and security must make every effort to identify, warn and remove from the premises upon repeat violation any spectator who degrades opposing student-athletes, coaches, officials of fans. Apparel and novelties that are lewd, suggestive or degrading to the opponent will be prohibited at the site of an OAC contest.
